Rock of Faith
Courage
Glorious passage
Temptations deflected
Faith in solitude reflected
Soul above all tribulations and pains
Rock over multitude of grains
Living daylight that grows
Fortitude sows
A king...

Real Vs Fake
Life reflects real , fake is deflected . Only real can hold steadfast in the spend of time . Only fake is shattered by the pressures of the world . The authentic last , never eroding but strengthening . Only the real respect real , fake merely hates or imitates ....

Premium Member Anatomy of a Cover-Up
A misstep detected
His image affected
PR staff directed
Positive spin injected

The slip-up rejected
An opponent suspected
To torture subjected
The slander corrected

Unanimously, as expected
The President re-elected
Foul play unsuspected
Threat now deflected...

Premium Member Thought of the day
memory revisits the erased past
who does it address: ego or our soul
let this not become the ego’s repast
lest we are deflected from our life’s goal
which is rekindling light scriptures extol
simply present in thought rested silence
our soul’s shielded from thought borne violence...

The Cell
The Cell

These bars confine and constrain
A cage of my own design
Built of illusions, wishes
A picture of a life dreamed

Chapters read, misread
My compass deflected
The map outdated, no one spoke
Signposts faded and fallen

Life larger than this cell
Expanding, awareness awakening
Testing these feeble boundaries
Self imposed, self removed

Stoic...

A Touch of the Blues
A brooding mood seeks to engulf my soul
but on the cusp of conquest,
is deflected by memories of nature’s rarest hue...
The sudden glimpse of stunning sapphire in a field of flaxen corn
and soothing balm of lavender’s luxurious scent.
Dragonfly and Kingfisher in burst of aqua flight
darting across the stunned palette of serene summer skies
and azure mirrors of the soul echoing my love.
Sorrow slowly surrenders....

A Darkened Room
Always there the two back beast
On the joys of love it feasts

Two are one then two once more
Forms that merge upon the floor

Shapes that show when lights deflected
Sounds that peel from souls affected

Intense with passion the air’s electric
Movements slow and then more hectic

Soon the beast has had its fill
Where it danced all now is still

The beast will rise no need to call
We are its mind; it’s in us all

I Will Always Come Back Stronger
Don't stand by me,
if you're going to be mouthy
and doubt me,
go back and respect my boundary,

your septic perspective and negative pictures will be deflected from my eyes and ears,
reject through control, selective subjective inspections of your lies, so clear,

I don't need to see photo's for truths,
when dealing with bozo brain youths,

I wont be bullied on the ground and crying to your sly,
I'm the bullet to impound and leave you dying, am I....

Premium Member The Primer
It entered the heart, this misty ball of light.
Then found its way around the moat,
darkened metal deadbolt.
It tickled and teased (quite pleasing).
It had pristine sensitivity-sensuality
but it was never meant to be.

Deflected to the silver path,
it settled in forever's forever,
Deep into the heart of a grand giver...
Something it needed and deserved).
I hope it can live in peace
if only for a short while///
before death primes the walls of its
tomb....

Premium Member Is That So
responses measured lose moments treasured since spontaneity is caged when heart’s by mind upstaged and as for heart’s desires fickle deflected by a mere tickle it finds that it’s unable to remain stable our fall from grace and sole cause of disgrace is clearly then bondage to desire of earthy objects we seek to acquire save by dissolving our ego in the void poised as awareness self-aware we’ll continue to be decoyed trapped in ego’s snare

Fit
Some things just fit right
Like you and me tonight
Laughter reflected, kisses returned
Nothing deflected, nothing burned
No false walls or odd criteria
Just sweet calls with love's deleria
The way you fit in my arms when we hug
I am well lit by your charms when we're snug
As different as we are from each other
Our sentiment is so far from another
Our race, place and class give no pass
Make haste, race, and dash just to ask
How happy can I make you?
There I will ever take you...
