Impossible as it may seem
We all have a glimpse
A gleam
To sight unseen
As we travel
We become inmeshed
In all of this
The dailey lives
Of us all

Iambic Meter

A poem should always end in rhyme
And this means each and every time
And if it doesn't end in rhyme
It can not be a poem of mine

February Funny Bone

There once was a groundhog named Phil
Who completly against his own will
Was pulled from the ground
And told, Phil, look around
Is the cold going to be with us still

Have Gun

When I was young, he'd always win
That man in black called Palidin
A hired gun and yet he starred
And always left a business card
That cragy face, that voice of gravel
That was his show, Have Gun Will Travel

Twelve Commas

I hit the ball, dropped the bat, and ran to first base;
Hit the bag, tripped, and was called out.
I got up, turned around, and got in the ump's face;
I gester, kick dust, and I shout.
He pointed at me, at the bag, and said son
You were out, hit the showers, now you're done

Fun and Frolic

I love you she said
Can we do it again dear
No, I have to rest

But it was so fun
And we’re out in the sun
But I am burning my bum
And my playful parts are numb
Let me just rest some

Well you sent me for a loop

Sexy

The wind in the trees
The rustling of leaves
All these tend to please
Me

The smell of clean hair
Like perfume in the air
Who longs to be there
Me

It is perfectly clear
When I look in the mirror
The one I hold dear
Me

I guess it’s no news
Narcissism’s my muse
For sexy I’d choose
Me

This is all tongue-in-cheek
Or may be true so to speak
If it’s sexy you seek
Me!
