Crescent Moon Grin
see how he chortles?
          his merry grin s p l i t s his face
as if cut across with a dagger

and he has g o n e and dissipated

.deathstare.
The voices in your head.
The voices in your head.
They stare at you till your down
they beat you till your dead.

You try to overcome them.
you try until your dead.
you cut cut across your arms
to fight the voices in your head.

Who cares... they think you're crazy.
these voices in your head
so I'll cut to rid the pain.
I'll cut until I'm dead....

October hushes
a cold snap, baldachin for
red, brown and gold leaf.
Indian summer waver, Indian rope trick
sent to douse earthen world shackle.
Bogus heat pump transience.
Polar air mass scatters migrant bird
on vibrant amber.
Ocean gust saline coated whisper
 to autumn eardrum host.
Nightscape shadows rudely cut across
the afternoon event space.

up, dusk you off and forget it all ever happened. But I can't and I hope you forgive me for not
being perfect...

Self Mutilation
The dagger of your words cut across my skin
Like a knife.
Swift as an eagle
The pain sears through my body…
I lust for it
A cooling sensation engulfs me
Wrapping me in temporary bliss.
The scars afterward or not a hindrance,
Simply decoration.
Tears fall
Slowly I drift down from my cloud
Of wonderful pain.
Now I feel nothing
But numbness
And utterly alone.
Still I hear your voice
That refuses to be shaken…
Pick up the pieces of yourself....
