Jack's Frostmas
The window panes full, one Jack Frost
gets his cold weather image criss-crossed.
Inciting rebellion at the Pole
he fails to take the leading role....

Or with your foot stuck in a strap

With bras she has tossed
You will need a booby-trap map...

Moving On
An action has been made
without much thought given into it.
It seems right, but feels wrong
nothing but regrets later on.

Mending a broken heart
with a thick needle, criss-cross stitches.
Decisions on a whim,
nothing but regrets later on....

Fuzzy
Fuzzy.
Criss-crossed and
checkerboarded but mostly fuzzy
Blue neon stain marks
The march of time
Scary, Espantoso, cualquier prefieres.
All is black now. But not totally
Negro with dabs of magenta
And not ‘till this line is done.
Fuzzy,...

Listen to poem:
One, a hole, a dot, a singularity
Two, twin dots of eyes that look back at me
Three, an ellipsis falling short tersely
Four, connect-the-dots to make a square, shapely
Five a quincunx, criss-crossed diagonally
Six, a double hyphen of dots, two lines of three...

Painting Over Happiness
Painting happiness
Crying all the while
Rainbows pasted over too

April showers
Hide behind a smile
And puddles beneath a muse

And tiny ripples criss
Across the pain
Reflecting broken hues

But, a dare sun peeks out
Still, I'm drenched in doubt
And harder pours the blues...

On Turning 50
Years passed like ocean
Turned 50
But in wheel chair

His hands still around me, my love!
Wiped my tears..
Gave hope.

Promised to love me
Even the world ends
My love for you is beyond infinity.

Fingers criss-crossed
Eye looked eyes
Words failed
But emotions spoke.....

Clumsy
good intention- bondage
bows knotted- time criss
crossed spirit sudden
(whisked off) lost &
gone with convenience-
holy voodoo sermon
of leniency- forgive me
for your fractured fist
is my bloody wrist-
hallelujah hideaway-
pride likes to play
poses to pacify- quite
a clumsy clod...

They guard lost gardens
Criss-cross forgotten rivers of solitude
All future seasons they rotate
Absolving rage with mute and gentle grace
Sweet angels
Blind to reason they spark rainbows
random, silent arcs that transform space.

They are constant, strange, eternal,
the very breath, and brain of God.

Galactic Fantastic
Galactic fantastic how I cry
Whilst I criss cross the diamonds in the sky
I tend to paint it ghostly white
Flying the non fly zone
With fuel or fight
A mission to another universe's earth
Another galactic fantastic birth
Would you inexplicably go
Or stay on this planet all alone!

Grandson
You are the newest thread in the tapestry of my life - once neatly-patterned, but now criss-crossed and sig-zagged with the vibrant strands of your sister. You, too, will be interwoven into the fabric of my life and be interlaced through its brightness and hues and be intricately entwined and securely knotted with one golden thread - Love.

Oh No''
Suzie's criss cross was for her bow because she always got caught
Right hand over left hand was something she couldn't understand
No matter how many times the string crossed her hand
The poor dear lady would hit the target not..
After shooting her dad there in the brow
An incident that really made him scowl
One dear man felt sorry for her cause
He looked around and he made a browses...

Message In a Yearbook
I see your stuttering on paper
in criss-crosses and muffled writing.
Years have past;
your confusion still lives on these glossy pages.

Was it a confession?
You know this too well,
but a cool breeze lies at the end of this hell.
Was it something more sinister?--
it doesn't get better,
so I'll just wish you good luck.

I wish I had asked you.

All I have now is ambiguity
forever immortalized
in black and white....

Premium Member In the Hazy Light
Variegated streaks
criss-crossing,
soothing lavender
then fiery maroon,
with belts of amber
in between.

Slate blue bluffs
catch the sun before it lands,
dipping into the rippling orange
of the mottled lake.

The pitch black pines are still,
passed the rusty mesh
of a rickety screen door.
Our eyes were fixed
up to the moment
your coppered profile
became shadow,
and I could see you no more
in the hazy light....
