on fruitless v i n e s ~
taste of ashen blight
No corolla tutors itself to bloom;
It merely keeps an antecedent vow.
Thus every life appears to choose its form,
Whilst tacitly obeying first ordinance.
The oldest covenants utter least of all—
Yet every pulse remembers their command.
A soul in flesh
Not trapped,
The two intertwined
Seeking to know the other.
Expressing the spectrum
Of emtions that run deep
Covenants between
Flesh and soul
To securely know
Beginnings and Endings
One to the other
Inseparable
Comparable indeed
Most do heed intuitively
Wnat eyes don't comprehend.

Are you at the end of your hope?
Tie on that anchor, hold onto that rope.
Losing sight of the promised visions?
Hearken back to His past provisions.
What He began in you, He will complete;
lift up your longings, and continue to seek.
For what He has promised, He surely will do;
His love is never-ending, His covenants true.
I pray there'll be space reserved in Paradise for poets to muse and versify,
To honor Him and the wonderful things awaiting us in the Great Bye and Bye!
I know not what awaiteth me but I believe in the covenants He hath made,
And since He promised eternal life, I approach my passing unafraid!

The agitated mind is dumb as the first bet lost
In desperation for redemption, the same motions are forced
To pretend and to pose, to chase the wind
To seek approval, for truth in trust lost
Do annals violate incarnate divinity?
Justifying a man’s inner repentance,
Wisdom cannot cry from lips of insincerity,
Yet what a sham, becomes this penance,
If temple anointing flows through dross,
And faithless arms is moved by pulse,
Then what O man is the message of the cross?
As madness reigns within these skulls.
A separation of ties from mindless covenants,
Blatant words from a broken heart,
And bloodline flow those whispering seductions,
To cut deep, to shed, to tear apart.
