Premium Member Whisper Hush the Snow Fall
With expectant face turned skyward,  
a gentle quality that can be heard. 
I watch the hypnotic, falling snow,  
breathe in a cleanness, all it's own. 

I smile as feather soft flakes, 
sweetly kiss my lashes and face. 
My cheeks a cold blushing glow, 
calmness in me begins to grow.

A blanket of fresh fallen white, 
lace upon lace, builds a quilt of ice. 
Standing still, I listen, intently. 
The gentle "hush" when snow falls gently....
