Come into the light , come, she said,
release the shadows from your head,
her words portrayed Mother Earth.
In stone citadels neath the stars,
draw the winds from both near and far,
inside her heart from first birth.
The songs of wise recall a time
of life and faith in reason's rhyme
under the climbing moon's light.
Sacred heart of her people call
return the lost soul from the fall
a ritual chant tonight.
