Fixing Caves

Hollow inside,
Outside hard stone
Some one entered this cave
Sparkled some glitter
Cleaned old sins
Started new story

Caves -Haiku-

Are dark and spooky water drips, bats hang around there might be ghosts too. Copyright © Cynthia Jones Jan.10/2015 Ghost Adventures is about the Bell Witch in Tennessee.

Cloistered in this cavern where chandeliers hang crystalline

Adorning the vaulted ceilings to which

Varicolored stalagmites have so slowly climbed - I find

Exquisiteness etched by time -

Seclusion's serenity.

Premium Member We Paint Our Caves

Once lit by flickering torch light
with animal tallow mixed with ocher
daubed on subterranean rock walls
now lit by streetlights or LED headlamp
slashes of spray paint and magic markers
splattered on concrete bridge abutments,
boxcars, or walls of tenement ghettos,
but the message is the same
we were here.

Caves

I heard the ocean breaking on the shore
Great tumbling tides and tossing crests that flew;
Across this concave shell-form, and the roar
Of breakers, wind-crested along the blue.

I heard the notes of the receding waves
The sound of green moss, rounded by the sea,
A song lingering in the glassy caves
As music plays us like a melody.

Caves

In your cave
Resides electricity
If I like it
Where is my fault

In your cave
Smiles blue ocean
Where is my fault
If I take some salt

In your cave
Dwells deep night
Where is my fault
If I seek single malt

From your cave
We go for the glow
For the dance of stars
We go back to night

Cave is our beginning
Cave is our survival
Cave is our garden
Cave our destination

In the Thai Tham Luang complex of caves

It was not where the children were lost

But the place that Compassion was found!

best kept secret in China
I am laughing now
because all the secrets there are best kept
none of them ever get told
the Chinese people I know keep everything a secret
they are not loose-lipped like my relatives

best kept secret in China
Longyou Caves
twenty-four hundred chambers
chiseled out under a large waterway
with steps and pillars
intricate, detailed, amazing workmanship
who made them? Who lived there? No one will ever know.

Caves

truth as tiny drops of water
hangs onto roofs,
waiting to nurture thoughts
creeping on dark floors,
Strange mind caves...
till flash of bright sunlight
traverses through,
for negativity to vanish
and sets dormant ideas aglow,
Strange mind caves ...
