A Moonstone

Words caved in darkness,
Heart, torn apart every time,
I cry without tears.
You adore that sweet flower,
Too bad, I'm just a Moonstone.

Goodbye My Love

Goodbye my love,
this life was worthwhile
until my thoughts caved in.

Goodbye my love,
you couldn't do anything
even if you tried.

Goodbye my love,
none of this is your fault
It's only mine.

Goodbye my love,
See you soon
or never again.

Crying

Tears fall like cold rain
Sliding down dry, tender cheeks
As though thin ice caved

As though floodwaters
Prisoner to a mighty dam
Is captive no more

As though chained feelings
Cool a flaming, fettered soul
Now free to grasp hands

I'M Sorry

I’m Sorry

When my world caved in
And you knew my sin

When the true me came out
And you knew about

Where I’d been
My lies within

When honesty fell through
These untrue truths

My deeds I’ll never forget
My actions I’ll regret

Persona Non Grata

Persona non grata so I sang beneath a
moonlight sonata.

A ghost-finger touched a quivering semi-tone note,
,your soul con-caved beneath that haunting,
longing, aching spirit!

So persona non grata my coattails in winter
snow!

The Flowers Blooming

Flowers blooming,
people smiling,
everything happening at its best.

The sorrows are gone,
now there's no pawn.
Everything's great and no one's caved.

The brightness is overloaded,
everyone is happy.
Lost the dejection and no one's snappy.

I Won

Brave,
Raved.

Cowards,
caved.

Weak,
squeaked.

Strongs,
Hit with a bang.

Wise,
won the dice.

Fools,
Were winding wool.

I was none to full,
But a little of each I did pull,
I did as they did- none,
But a little,
but still won.

Yus M-Lady

Yus M’Lady

M’lud swung on the chandelier but then the roof caved in
The rubble all but buried him and came up to his chin
He said, ‘Can we abstain tonight?’ and flashed a noble grin
M’Lady said, ‘You get some rest… I’ll call the butler in.’

Landslide

Caving in
as my mountain
begins to fold

A mountain that was so steep,
tall, wide, and proud
has crumbled.
Caved in

My mountain has gone,
not gone as
other things go
but gone.
                         Leaving no trace

As my mountain
turns flat,
once admired
Is now walked
all over.

Willow

Here lies my old pal Michael,
His spirit set free by wind,
because the storm which kicked his bucket,
trapped the poor old git within,
A Scotsman by his name,
and a carpenter by trade,
should of built yourself s door mate,
to stop the barn which caved you in.

I love you Bic.

Burning

numb surface- can't
seem to- unplug the
wires in the core-
help is a chore
-proven weakness-
no ground- blankets of
mess enmeshed-
slither through the broken
skin- go out but-
come back in- i know
no better- caved in
shelter- my spirit is
sweltering- freeze me
-don't leave me-
burning

Angel

you were my angel and my rock
i thought your love would never stop
you were my light at the end of the tunnel
now it's caved in like a funnel
i miss you because you are me
i miss the times i used to see
to see you smile again
to feel your warm embrace
i miss the feel of you touching my face

languidly so worn

what burns as badly
as a pressing
of clothes
languidly worn
in the bloody past,
there's no silver star,
its killing me to wish
not for a bull with horns
Its hurting to try to win....
I've caved in Empires
in the closure of caves
just a kid pretending......
There's the eyes ahead
but not above this sadly.

Making Overtures

Night.
A scantily clad sky,
with unkempt clouds.
Moon was climbing.

Caved in.
I had nothing left
to say, except
soundless poems.

No regrets;
in this climactic
struggle of life. The
pain eases, when

memory fails.
The flesh engages the
spirit. End would wait
till the grass banks.

Animal Real Estate

The fallen nest of life
whose straw lay strewn,
holds no bidders.

The ransacked burrow
...caved in,
holds no retail value.

The marsh land paved,
still resonates
through your cup of tea.

Twas their last plea;
which you ignored.

Real estate is only profitable
when built by people.

...But animal real estate
holds more value.

Better Wining

My Dad always said
Better to win by being the better man
Than by default
Because your opponent
Caved
Otherwise although you won
There will always be a nagging doubt
That victory was empty
Because your opponent beat himself
And to reach the top shelf
To put the result beyond question
You have to know
You won fair and fair
And not by default

Lips On Fire

Sometimes the ice burns,
a fish moves in your eyes.

The ubiquity was at lowest level,
nothing was visible in sun.

Mission crawl in the crotch
does not find any fever.

The golden cave has caved in.
Moon will find another sky.

Nerves were green, pain was
black. No mercy for hooks.

Your map was here and my stitches.
Let us see, who tells the lie.

A Burning House

The flames
leaped and laughed
and licked at my skin.

And yet you didn’t save me.

The house
crumbled and crackled
and around me caved in.

And yet you didn’t save me.

Unclean!
Unclean! you cried
and watched the ashes spin.

Now it’s too late to save me.

Coo, Coo Ca-Choo

my world took flight with appetite
those bastions precisely planned
slowly collapsed and caved
on shifting drifting sand

you were the screen in my submarine
the rubber crutch on which I lean
holes in my boat letting water out
and the sour in cabbage kraut

dominos fall
when the clock strikes two
a shrew flew over my cuckoo
and the shrew that flew is you

Without You

Flashing dusty lamp
The termite hill, damp
Cleft of a mountain unfinished
Its cliffs as though diminished.
Dewdrops decorating the window
The modest moonbeam show
Philodendron Birkin
Ancient wells caved in
All these, your paintings, you loved, I know
They are now without your glow.
Without you, the sight is unsettling.
The aches of your memories are deadening.

Introduction

something awry all over
cant go on like this forever
the ways of survival of our quality of water
whine and ale
the scene to solve the situation
and the chaos of the intoxication
we caved to survive
finaly accomplished logic amidst our stupor
showcase it for everyone to make something useful out of the experience

interlude curtians reopen scene two
things improved

Now Zad

Its called Now Zad
Might as well be Stallingrad
With the bombed out houses
And the windows caved in

All we do is sand bag all day
And with this cease fire
The taleban just stay away
Why dont we just stay away

The people have deserted
Like rats from a sinking ship
How i miss Scotland with its sweet fresh smell
All i smell in Afghanistan in the rotten stench of hell

Is Nigth In My Village

Entrapped in the belly of heavy eyes...

Mother nature beacon on me...

Echoes of days' labour

En-caved in dreams of death...

Snoring and snarling tearing the roofs...

Mystical beings crawling to their covens...

Afraid,afraid i am not afraid,

Have got Elohim by my side...

The night is sick...

It is night in my village

                                                            awoh kingsley awoh

A place like home

I've been kissed by ghosts a thousand times
searching for people hidden
an aged magazine
filled in voices of shadows
blind fingers
chaotically touching the third eye
retain silence
screaming my name
caved
the fury of a tsunami wipes
last fingerprint...

who just walk past
it's not welcome on the altar
of my soul
barefoot
written first love story
the only room
for
my body
faith
purity
and
ETERNITY.

Shades of a Faded Red

Did time betray the one weilding the sickle or was it the drones in the sky?
Were the hammers not forged to fight bullets
Were my bullets not the same as the one that tore through me?
You who were garbed in rich silk
Did you trample on the hands that reached for the skies.
You who quoted my verses in strife
Did you not raise a finger and let the blooming petals die.
You who caved in, did you not love me to let me go by?
