Although I’m not a player
Limitless I get obsessed
Good verse takes me from my bed
Half dressed
A Verse is rhymed and read
Limitless spirit unopressed
When strangers are old friends
the eyes do link no time to think
and you can’t run away
limitless be born and blessed
your path is hard and long
so do your gig n jig a jig
till spirit canters on

Rings around an equine leg,
captured gait and proud of heritage,
slice my heart to freedom's pitch
to lay the stones to pave
Fields should sway in wildflower metronomes
to the running hooves of a thousand feet
Sun on manes and nostril steam
breaking the morning dew in clumps
and yet I watch as canters stop painfully short
and white wood fences become brick walls
to never be toppled, except in flight
in midnight eyes and fire.
Seeking blissful joy in permanence
The deluded yet engage in mind body parlance
Our astonishment thus knows no bounds
As spiralling fears and desires do twirl us around
Recognition not liberation
Until suffused with love as our orientation
Nestled in stillness we are centred
Imbibing the bliss current which within us canters
Inner and outer in alignment
We flow on unresistant in blissful contentment

nothing perishes but the overcoat body,
spirit rises canters well,
outworn overcoat, falls away ole Poddy,,
go anywhere, but bloody hell,
logic says the soul wont smell.......
grub of soul lives on the earth,
butterfly spirit flys in the light,
depending on your brownie points,you surf,
bitter/sweet is your next delight
have you really got it right?
wealth n power Asp will bite,
deprive the spiritual worth?

Mortal coil to shuffle off,
up to the lord, almighty God,
have that bridge, sometime to cross,
ankle deep in mortal dross,
never mind the bloody cost,
till the veil do part, we plod,
on cloven hoof , unshod,
lonesome n the lost...
