Late and Double Late
I`m late, so late and
Can no longer wait !
I`m in grave trouble and
soon will burst my bubble
My efforts must redouble !
I`m truly in a pickle.

I`m truly in big ****
To this I must admit
Am truly a star twit !
And forthwith must commit
To stop with all this wit....

Insignificant troubles By: Miracle Man 6/14/2024 Each time that we ponder, it can’t get any worse. A new day brings some change, that’s attached to our purse. Usually its something small, attempting to burst our bubble. Feeling blessed and highly favored, makes it insignificant trouble.

Premium Member The Bubble Burster
In my days of innocence, a man- more a fantasy of flesh and blood- came unexpectedly along and stepped inside my little bubble. At last we had our moment. His mouth on mine, pillow soft, moved strangely out of synche with my own lips, and this was the pin that burst my bubble. for PD's Contest: free verse poem. (15 max lines)

Never Told My Lives Matter
i never felt alike the rest
always like i was less
everyday of life a test
never able to address

always was the one in trouble
singled out and made example
often would it burst my bubble
punishments i felt were ample

isolation in my mission
so my mood stamped down flatter
still i face this repetition
never told that white lives matter...

I close my eyes,
So I can't see
Anything in front of me.
The future is looking bleak,
I close my mouth
It's useless to speak,
The world feels like
A massive bubble,
Full of heartache,
Treachery and trouble.
We need strength
And togetherness,
So we may rid ourselves,
Of this awful mess,
To burst this bubble.
With a pin,
Spilling out,
All hate and sin....

Patience Destroyed
Pale panes of melting ice
Mist up with breath
And drip, they drip
The panes begin to run
And begin to fall away
Suspended for a second for a minute
To be diverted or perverted
Barriers rotted
False words spurted
Tantrums, tempests, frustration
Aha! I am free
The rotted flesh deceiver
May I burst your bubble,
Slit your throat to save the trouble
I am the Shadow Reaper!...

Premium Member Bubble Husband
I'm in a world of trouble cause I left my husband in a bubble and I left him there all day.
There's no use for dialogue cause his mind is in a fog and he doesn't hear a single thing I say.
If I try to burst his bubble, he'll be left in piles of rubble, so in his bubble he must stay..As when he's in this state, nothing else can penetrate, so I guess I'll watch his bubble float away.....

If Only
If only

I could color the darkness

nod and smile, understand it.

If only

I could squint and see my path

not beg

every breath to be my humane euthanasia.

If only

I could be less afraid

made of grander things

than the pebble that is my soul.

If only

I could burst the bubble I occupy,

instead of being

I could not be.

Is that an option I can have?...

Wake Up Call
Wake Up Call

That’s right. Burst my bubble.
Break my dream, why don’t you.
‘Open your eyes’, you say.
‘Wake up to reality’, you say.
I should press your snooze button
And turn back to my dreams,
But you’ll only be back
With another wake up call.
OK, OK, I’m getting up.
Here I go.
Just give me a minute to pack my dreams in my bag.
I’m taking them with me,
And leaving you behind....

Lovable
if you can help me over the icy patches
the times of doubt or shouting matches
anything to tether and make this last
I can be that lovable

not insecure but in a mind set
baggage free is what you get
if my love you will accept
and not burst this bubble

lay me down in a bed of roses
cover me with love that lasts and grows
better or more than I"ve ever known
I am worth the trouble...

Introduction
"First she burst my bubble,
then she said goodbye."
So the dream mother
introduces my daughter to me.

Nameless, she plays in the sandbox,
digging up dirt even as a toddler.
Here is where I know her first:
Before her hospital cry;
before the bloody show.

I ask the dream mother what it was like
giving birth to the tot I do not yet know.

Her response leaves me in a cold sweat –

Now, too late to change direction:
her birth inevitable, as the goodbye....

If this world is my illusion
Then I don’t know, who am I
Can’t drew out a conclusion
Can’t define a truth from lie
But what if the world is yours?
Then it’s under your protection
And your headship, I suppose
Brings conceptual satisfaction
So this mess you advocate
Isn’t all subjective vision
But a forced collective fate
Under clever supervision
Sorry ‘bout a little trouble
With believing in such view
Stop pretending, burst that bubble
You don’t know more, than I do....
