Donny Does Stormy

Donald Trump decided to score
With a **** Star he thought was an whore
He got less than Bill
But it was a thrill
Just to pay her an hundred grand more!

Premium Member Strutting His Stuff

Chance Rooster had greatest cockscomb around.
The deepest, coppery color, shiny and sound.
He strutted his stuff.
Put on lots of guff.
Turning off most hens for miles around.

Premium Member Solitary Boast

Mary is our tainted nature's solitary boast* --
Preserved from original sin by the Holy Ghost
A prepared Tabernacle for the Sacred Host!

*I was continuing this line of Wordsworth's original poem on the Blessed Virgin

What Fathoms Boast

Splen'drous verse in silent tongue-
The arias of the night,
Their strains a'sail 'pon saddened seas
In dulcet tones of yearning
To this lonely dance some comfort bring...
For what fathoms boasts the myst'ried Deep
That Love has not the greater?
What fragrance speaks Spring's choicest bloom
That Longing's not the more?

Arrogance is a need to be better than most
An inflated sense of self is much of the boast
Walking through the day
Up on the hill
Looking down on the humble is just their way
Never believing they will tumble
Or there will be a price to pay
An when that day comes
It is never their fault
Because they are better than most
An continue to boast...........

Be Reserved and Fame Deserved

You’d moved round and it wasn’t A Catwalk
And your bare back arched and I didn’t talk
The worst vomiting and I didn’t sulk
And at me, missiles fired to baulk
But tell me if I did yell or baulk?

A right you have to strip body bare
But I will see nothing of The Rare,
Always self lending to abhorred boasts
While you aren’t a sought subject of toasts …

Those who are after fame not deserved
Shall a way find to be just reserved.

Premium Member We Boast of Her

She has a mama’s lap and a mama’s smile.
There is a gentleness that reassures children.
They climb up, knowing her hugs will be perfect

She is a woman who understands people
She speaks the language of children
There is a loving awareness that precedes her

She is content in her life’s work
Grateful she was born a woman,
Doing angel’s work, loving humanity

She is not boastful, so we boast of her
We are glad she is our mama
We are thrilled

Boast

Titles have flown
And brought me home alone
But yet I talk cheerfully
Hiding the suspense fearfully
Don't dare but play fair
But be calm and I despair
Any dethrone justice
Of which I seek malice
I boast with dark blasphemy
Of a fool's forgery.
I Boast with your fears
I Boast with your tears.
I boast with your laughter
I boast when you think you are my master.
I boast with your terror
But what I love most to boast is your error
To forget me your conscience.
