On Speaker
My dark fantasies are growing bleaker,
Blithely flogging this attention seeker,
Why am I so pissed?
This bore must insist,
To take all his phone calls on speaker....

In a long-gone child-winter, a child to thaw
Laid blank in the Sun, not child anymore.
And now that your face is a stranger today,
And stranger acquaintances got in the way,
There's not any sadness, there's not even pain,
Just a wholeness... or numbness...
They both feel the same....
