Dissolute Permanence

I glow in the dark
In my living casket
Foul bioluminescent
Engulfed in the scent
Self-offering present
I'll curb the descent
Corpse waters relent
I'm back at the end
From this I contend
My incessant event

Premium Member Scarlet Sword

Slow and silent steps with a sword in the dark
the killer longs for fine scarlet wine
while taking sadistic joy in ending one's arc
to taste the scarlet blade in the night at nine

Another stab into the heart of an innocent
at midnight under the white cresent
as overwhelming insanity is present
to the point where the bloodlust is bioluminescent

Premium Member As I Slumber

my dendrite highway glides into spiritual realms
unbidden, unhurried, unsanctified by conscious me
meditative unawareness solidifies into dreams of the dead
bioluminescent shapes and songs form enticing my psyche
I slumber blissfully unaware and yet here is piece of me
The piece I am not in touch with during the daylight hours,
constructing, creating, and misconstruing my next day

Premium Member they were gorgeous

she was a beauty
maybe she was a he
whatever they were
they were gorgeous

bioluminescent purple
with fluorescent green eyes
they enhanced the solid oak tree
their colors being almost
psychedelic

I wondered if they could make noise
often owls who are this gorgeous are deaf or blind
whoooooo whooooooo whooooooo
they were okay in that regard.
Even their hoots were beautiful.

Under the Sea

Under the sea plays a colorful show,
Of bioluminescent jelly fish that glow,
In corals reefs with psychedelic hues,
Glittering in reds, pinks, greens, and blues,
Fascinating creatures both speckled and striped,
Swim down to the deep that's absent of light,
And here is where there lurks for man,
A world he has yet to understand,
With bottomless currents that tug and flow,
To where only the imagination and mermaids can go-

Premium Member Bioluminescent Mermaid

Bioluminescent Mermaid was created for a reason.
She was constructed during the stormiest season.
We can follow her down to the depths of the deep,
Said a confident sailor, with a wink and a leap.

She was way ahead of the ship, far down in the water.
Her gills glowed so clearly, she scared many an otter.
The divers tried to follow her, but alas, she went so far.
They can see her glow underwater; she looks like a faraway star.

Luciferin

Fireflies flicker and light the night on my walk home through the wood after a day's fun in the sun thinking summer should always feel this good and they look like nymphs to me dancing quietly on the breeze flitting hither thither and yon between the softly-moonlit trees sending signals to one another before the dawn and it's too late like tiny bioluminescent Aldis lamps flashing to find the perfect mate
