She Will Return
Little though I know of Becca
I believe she is not from Mecca
She adores her muse
Who will hear no excuse
She will sure return as Rebecca

Premium Member A Cup of Friends
The friendships I have made here
Some new and from before
Will last me my whole life time
Perhaps a slight shade more
And when my time is over
Their words will come to me
And give me peace along my way
To perfect poetry

Thanks
Jan
Becca
Robert
Dan
and so many others for keeping me inspired...

Becca, My Baby Girl
Becca, My Baby Girl

I watch you sleep.
I stroke your hair.
You are my baby girl.
Your sweet sixteen.
How I remember the minutes, the days, the years.
All your beautiful smiles, but also your many tears.
I wish you would let me in, it`s ok to need your Mom.
Because I will always need you.
My baby girl....

Premium Member Hello
Becca, stay with us a while
 Let's see your beautiful smile
 No need to run away
We'd love for you to stay

 Your poems we enjoy
 with verses so sublime
 Your comments uplift us too
 With strength we'll rise anew

So let your muse fly high
 And let your verses flow
 Instead of saying goodbye
 We'll simply say hello!...

Becca, Don'T Leave
We have been through a lot of adventure as a family
in Poetry Soup - contests, blogs and discussions.
You've made Poetry Soup peaceful and awesome
with your charm and charisma.
Most people have stayed in Poetry Soup
because of you.....that's why I don't want you to leave
yet, Becca. If you do, a major spirit of hope will
vanish with you.......

Life
i hear him yell i hear him scream
the teachers eyes burn right through me
i burst in flames i kick and scream
oh my god its just a dream

i wake up and hit my head
the teachers face is turning red
i look at becca insted
i know shes laughing in her head

i can not hear i can not see
but i know its almost three

I looked everywhere for a phone book
I think there's little chance I'll find one
My smart phone says to call 411
I think these books will now be extinct
If you see one have a good look
No reason now to print all those names
I can't believe they have all vanished

To find under stepped message refer to my Understepping one or two
for directions.

Inspired by Becca, I hope you like it. I can't resist a challenge*lol*...

Premium Member To Paradise Come
To paradise come; chase your blues away! Pure pleasure resides at my favorite place. Where sand and sea sparkle and palm trees sway - to paradise come. Chase your blues away. Just play and jump waves. Stay all of the day - warm breezes and sun caressing your face. To paradise come; chase your blues away. Pure pleasure resides at my favorite place! Premium Member Sweet Tears of Sorrow - Ii
Sweet tears of sorrow streaming down,
I feel your warm embrace.
Falling as you break the strings
that hold my heart in place.

Dreams that wander aimlessly,
like a beggar with no home,
wash up on lifeless shore
to fade - to die alone.

Hope that comes from an empty heart
depends on fortune's call.
Never to find a lasting peace,
not seeking Heaven's thrall.

Bye Bye Becca
Bye Bye Becca
Rang through my ears in hell
I had to do the dishes now
But couldnt do them well.

The mopping and house cleaning
Looked me in the eye
Becca lift that pen and write
But all i did was cry.

Who will drive the children home
And polish off the car
I used to write, I used to dream
But now im just a fallen star.

Wake up Becca, wake up girl
I shot up with a start
Oh forget these mundane things
And pen with all your heart.
