i hear him yell i hear him scream
the teachers eyes burn right through me
i burst in flames i kick and scream
oh my god its just a dream

i wake up and hit my head 
the teachers face is turning red
i look at becca insted 
i know shes laughing in her head

i can not hear i can not see

I think there's little chance I'll find one 
My smart phone says to call 411
I think these books will now be extinct

No reason now to print all those names
I can't believe they have all vanished

Sweet tears of sorrow streaming down,
I feel your warm embrace.
Falling as you break the strings
that hold my heart in place.

Dreams that wander aimlessly,
like a beggar with no home,
wash up on lifeless shore
to fade - to die alone.

Hope that comes from an empty heart
depends on fortune's call.
Never to find a lasting peace,
not seeking Heaven's thrall.

Bye Bye Becca
Rang through my ears in hell
I had to do the dishes now
But couldnt do them well.

The mopping and house cleaning
Looked me in the eye
Becca lift that pen and write
But all i did was cry.

Who will drive the children home
And polish off the car
I used to write, I used to dream
But now im just a fallen star.

Wake up Becca, wake up girl
I shot up with a start
Oh forget these mundane things
And pen with all your heart.
