Caesar preferred to be quietly interred

But to Antony his friend he deferred --

With Rome's citizenry Antony conferred

Spurred them on with the passion of his words

Masterfully, did he their emotions stir --

They'd hunt down and kill the conspirators, sure...

Through the Streets Forlorn
A rain that felled in a rhythmic beat
washed away our muddy feet
rain frogs croaking beside the pond
has drone
so as the violent rain has gone;
drenching each tiny leaves of oaks
reminding us of a wedding vows
the rain has gone, silence the night
has worn.
we are moving ahead to the port of call
holding hands with a shivery breathe
ahead and ahead
through the streets forlorn..

Purpose
suffering by the sentence made, the pain wave breaks the surface, the whips cut and the slicing blade, the masters bloody purpose.... to be owned by the master, and treated like a curse, resentment burns hereafter, karma is ten times worse, time repays the master, the next life reimbursed, not blest with this life with laughter, so miserable so cursed "Indentured Servant" thanks Antony Nutter great poetry mate.....Don Johnson

Feral
Feral.
He's a dirty little kid
small and wiry, hair
all matted and dull.
Covered in scabs,
no shoes on his feet.
Poor little chap.
Looks like he has just crawled from under a hedge.
Gone feral, that's what's happened to him.
Left to his own devices a scavenger he's become.
Feeding off other peoples rubbish.
His clothes are just rags, he needs a good bath,
and a hot meal.
He's a feral child, gone wild, untamed, no one to take care of him.

Antony Slausen.
