It's 12:02 pm and I've got to reach up to touch bottom.
Doing so I grab the ankle of a leper which is no help at all.
got up for a snack in the night
mostly asleep with no light
stepped on the cat
how about that
my ankle is missing a bite
Trump Lump of Lard Horn Haiku
Trump sure is old grump;
Broke ankle slipping on stump,
With lard a big lump.
Jim Horn
It was lurking,
that patch of ice,
as slick as glass.
Quite innocently
I stepped outside
and fell on my . . .
ankle.

Friend’s House
Haiku: By Miracle Man
6/2/2022
Ankle deep water,
house quickly inundated.
Waist deep, all was gone.
the swash of cold waves,
ankle-deep, twines burning sand -
infinite surging
oil of coconut
on darkening flesh, the sun -
surf and splash sizzle
I close the door - hah!
I'm a forest snake...sssssssneaky...
I built this grand skill
I go up to bed
Spraining my ankle - okay...
Yeah - I deserved it
spring breeze
on back deck
hair dryer
-----
morning walk
on side street
twisted ankle
----
sunny morning
in neighborhood
coffee waifs
I twisted my ankle last night,
I started to cry at the sight,
for there on the floor
was bone, blood, and more...
Should my left foot be pointing right?
a broken ankle
ouch ouch ouch ouch
on a willing worker
who is no slouch
her driving ankle
ow ow ow ow
setting her back for weeks
accident where she hit a cow
Blindes is folded into remindness, cause.. .. Do we not live in the world we know nothing abt? We are blinders Indeed Blinders, are timeless. We are they. And they are we.
no pain
no gain
totally true
but what happens when your hurt all the time?
sprained wrist
sprained ankle
soon i'll brake it
and i'll feel a diffrent pain
one of these days

SEPTEMBER
Leaves were at the treetop
Now they are round the bottom
Wind’s in gusts and just won’t stop
I must be ankle deep in autumn
………………………………………………………………………….
I sprain my ankle alot
doing things my ankle can't handle,
obviously.
My fondue is simmered by the pain; the flame of new.
Makes me feel alive,
and a bit horny too.
I will survive.
I stepped over the body of my work
it grabbed my ankle with a jerk
"I do have so much more to say!"
"I plan to go another way."
I told my Opus,with a smile.
"Now you just rest and wait a while."
that guy’s sure in rags
sniffing glue from plastic bags
his torn trousers sag
i drive past in fancy jag
paroled with an ankle tag

A real phenom I is
Always wanted to be a ballet dancer till I broke my ankle
Poor little Kelcie, while taking a selfie,
Tripped and fell down the stairs.
She cracked her crown as she went down,
Twisting her ankle and knee.
Now she laments at these awful events;
"All for a picture of me!"
Luloo was in a terrible rush
Shovelled snow then fell on her tush
It isn't a joke -
Her ankle got broke
But the snow's now turned into slush
GET WELL SOON LULOO
26th February 2016
Old age and ache
Foot on brake pad
The shake stressing
Tibia’s throb
The knees nob and
Hobnob ankle twinge
Perhaps the doc
Takes off sock and
It’s all a crock
No thank you pain
Be no cane or
Slight strain of pace
The aged priest did not worry
about the latest fashion
Beneath the ankle length cloak -
vulgar lingerie
taking the long way
Grandma with her stick and me
ankle deep cold creek
homing pigeons rise
circling evening skies
fledgling blue-bars in training
blackberry stained lips
sipping hot sassafras tea
fireflies welcome home
My mother bought me a money box
When I was still in ankle socks
It’s in the shape of a pig
To this day that pig I dig
My late mom is my brightest star
Next is my shiny piece of art
Who once stole a little girl’s heart.
They stalk me.
those ankle-panthers.
I try to negotiate a way
into their affections,
yet they scorn
chin tickles, belly rubs
my hesitant ear petting.
Too soon
they strut away
tails stiff in the air
flashing that old pink
one eye.
