tender side of me
lets me to love and be loved
with grace and honor;
trait that emanates both strength
and fear of being exploited.

Animus, LeftBrain's ego seduction
invites Anima
for RightMind ecosystemic induction.
Together,
a spirited tragic-deductive/comedic-inductive
WinWin soul-production.
In the night
We sleep together
And I resist the urge
To pull you close
I know you will be leaving me
In the morning
But ask anyway
If you will take me
With you
At least part way

I,
woman,
love life, so
I celebrate
every little joy
whether spent with my friends,
family, or just myself!
I follow the Golden Rule, for
kindness guides me; also I’ve learned that
smiling is the universal language!
I'm emotional;
I'm easily excited;
I'm easily irritated....
Sometimes I spend a lot of time
staring at myself at the mirror,
like Narcissus.
Sometimes I crave for attention
whenever I feel neglected.
Sometimes I sense emotions
of the ones close to me....
All these are the feminine part of me,
which you don't easily notice,
for there are many things for you to notice....
(“Something from Nothing”, 2024, original encaustic)
Anima comes and goes
Ever youthful sprite
Of singular beauty
In ever changing form
Like a year of turning seasons
A day of shifting light
A being aging in a lifetime
Sometimes she seems to leave me
And sometimes lead me on
Then comes to pull me in
With a kiss that simply says
We have never been apart
Anima knows me
Better than I know her
Like a mirror
Endlessly reflecting light
