Deafening crowd,
Definitely shout,
Defyingly loud,
Undeniably wow’d. 

Hands stretched to the ceiling.
Sweat beaded faces.
Driven by the feeling.
Adrenal speed races.

Been here before,
But never quite so right.
It’s in the air tonight.
My kind of night!

In chortled glee

Poor fool

As naught is left
But tatters
Of past now’s

Life’s dark companion
Have counted every step
Held sway
Lest I falter
Seasoned my errors
With adrenal angst

I wait
In grimaced glee
Enshrouded
In an endless
Thinning veil
Awaiting
