Premium Member Cheers

Limericks have been here for some 500 years
With a view of giving good cheers
From great inspiration
To expelled narration
Mine was written after a few beers

Premium Member System Error 500 Is Back Again

I would like to make some nice comments on poetry, but right now, this annoying thing won't let me. This is truly a very egregious thing to see. Don't worry, I will comment on your work eventually.

ZEST

Zest funds fond wit with ample flow,
Embrace calm fit as thought now shows;
See how light bits inspire new highs,
Touch as you sit a heart that knows.

Take Away Right of Way

These just came to me between 0500 and 0800 this morning Jan 06, 2018.

When You Take Away Right of Way

When you take away right of way,
And also along with right to say,
If you amend,
We commend;
From rules people seem to stray.

The Doggone Dog Contest.

Rufus: Irish Rover Purebred and a Fortune 500 Pup ( As told by Rufus himself.)

Watch me snarl all the salesmen away,
ram the door, keep the mailmen at bay.
Each evening, I break
for a fresh T-bone steak.
The sun shines on my ass the WHOLE day.

MORE

Mind and heart sync with soul that knows,
Observe fond think as more now flows;
Rouse voice that links grand ample health,
Express rich brink that ever grows.

Ingrid

Ingrid

Ingrid is a computer geek.
Never wake Ingrid up before 8:00.
Genius or not, sometimes rash words fly.
Reads, 500 pages in one day.
Ingeniously resourceful
Daring at times.

Last Trains To Nowhere

Here we almost don't have
no trains coming or leaving...
It was nice to travel and I remember it well...
The music 500 hundred miles,
I never listened again...
It's sad to sight a train leave
for infinite railroads beyond...
The land of no return... !

Oak Tree

An Oak tree
Branches sway violently
Leaves lose their place and descend at a frightening speed
Silently covering the ground I'm what appears to be death
Roots remain firmly underground
It's 500 year survival place
I'm no oak tree
I cannot survive this storm

Untitled Number 4

One hard, metal frame
Split box spring; mattress stacked upon
"500 count-thread" fitted sheet
Flat, satin sheet; neatly spread above all
6 pillows, 3 additional decorative cushions
One oversized, cold, striped bedspread
One Body, to soak up all the comforts?

Premium Member Salvage Yard Freeway-

Salvage yards hand me down
 throttle starters transmission brawls
Clutch drive spent wheels ravages
Four-wheel drive, five-speed Savages,
all this going on in the Salvage junkyard tow yard
Just 500 feet from the freeway?

My Beloved

I wish our love
Never retreats.

My heartbeats
an’ leaps
an’ steeps
in our love in our love.

A masterpiece
some feat
tranquility and peace
In our love - thoughts and treats.

Your heart
jumpstart
repeat
In our love - we dream and sleep.

500 miles away
yet we never sway.

Premium Member I Hate It

21
I hate it
I hate the drugs
I hate the people
I hate the depression
I hate the needles
I hate my actions
And what I do
For drugs
Mounting huge debts
And owing out my check
Each month but now
Im good 900 deposited
Into my savings and I still
Got over 500 left
Probably put in some more

Premium Member Mexican Gold

Maybe I'll start smoking weed again
I was much happier back in those Mexican gold days
tickling nickel bags- giggling away the night
playing 500 rummy with my best buddy mike
crushing the munchies with bowls of mac-n-cheese
forever plotting to overthrow virginity...
praying our pimples to fade away by Monday.

Love Affair With Money

Why do people have love affairs with money?
It will never hug you and call you honey!
It's something that will come and go
If that's used to keep life balanced,
I really hope you don't loose your big toe
When it's all gone and your staring at your last wall
Will you think about your fortune 500 brand in a picture down the hall?

Premium Member The Revolution's Over

Today’s photo-op's driving me out of my mind
500 American Communists marching in line

Someone please tell them, ‘the Revolution’s over’

Cars One

Cars One

A coffin for your children
A hearse for your fat missus
A burden on the mother earth
We will not be forgiven

A curse to city dwellers
A blessing for shopping mauls
Noisy,ugly,overvalued
Ridiculously LARGE

More power than 500 horses
Faster than a train
Sophisticated self maintaining
Millstones with a brain.

Premium Member Love Getting Off Work At Three

today we teachers got out at three
I jumped for joy
Because we usually get out at four-thirty-five
When the worst craziest drivers think they are contenders
for the Indianapolis 500
Days I have to hang on to my steering wheel
With stiff fingers
Clenching my teeth
Swearing a stream of mean words
Terrified some idiot driver will catch up with me
car

You'D Swear I Was a Vampire

My hands are freezing cold
I look not to be old
I'm not to strong
And I dont have super speed
In time I get where I need to be
I wouldn't call myself"dimond beautiful"
But myspace has 500 people to say otherwise
It's all in my eyes
Their color changing
Most find it dazing
I dont find myself strange
But do to TWILIGHT
You'd swear I was a vampire
