He followed me from behind
tampering with my mind
I suppose I witnessed his wrath
mastered his frolicking daintily
leaving little room for honesty
in an instant time traveled
while I focused on the sheer
notion of self moving over day
as night rolled in seated with desire
my heart dangling on his every
word an yet I wasn't listening
