Winter is gone, it’s spring in the air
Leaves in garden sprout in saplings bare
On a satin leaf a small worm crawls
Keeps tight soft spine lest it slips and falls.
When hungry it eats the leaf like bean
Grows to a big curling worm, turns green
The blooming flowers bright sunrays light
Soaking colors it glows in delight.
The scent of flowers drifts in a spree
Smelling aroma flies in a bee
Feels thrilled seeing the worm coiling
Fluttering joyfully starts to sing.
The sad worm has lonely time to spend
Gets excited to have a new friend
Beckons the bee to start a ballet
They dance henceforth merrily whole day.
