Suppressing The Vote
People get involved, get out and vote
Your rights being dissolved, just take note
No policies to offer, so they revert to cheating
Rather than being fair, just take the beating
Suppression tactics, implementing unconstitutional rules
As though we live in a darkened abyss, as dumb downed fools
Your vote is the energy required to eliminate the grab for power
Put aside our differences, cast a collective vote, in this shining hour
These faulty tactics are spread throughout Red states
The anger and disbelief of the majority, motivates
Don’t let ignorance penetrate under your skin
Do your due diligence, cast your vote and we will win
It’s a sad state of affairs, when they’re gaslighting
Get educated, be informed and continue fighting
No doubt, changing times, are the focal point
Don’t allow these suppression tactics to disappoint
Many minds are confused and brainwashed
Suppress your biases and hatred, don’t be used as props
Get real, be serious, evaluate what’s at stake
Think about your future and don’t hesitate
Rather than separate, just join in and celebrate
While you ponder, and contemplate, don’t underestimate
The country is sitting on a powder keg
Self reflection, should not leave you to beg
This current day political climate, filled with strife
Should not be the defining moment of your life
Integrity and character is the measuring principle
Human interaction based on differences, may be visceral
Don’t allow deception and division to be the standard
Do the right thing, vote or be left unheard
Giving credence to those with ulteria motives
Relinquishing our power to set the narratives
Voter suppression, the goal is cruelty and to disenfranchise
For the majority, realize that together, we can’t be minimized
Project 2025, laser focused on installing a Dictator
Reasonable people will not join forces with the Traitors
It’s always a wonder, why hypocrites call themselves Christians
Constantly projecting hatred, not believing that we’re all Americans
Forgive them Father, they know not what they do
Ask the question, is that really your Worldview
Showcasing and flaunting disrespect in our face
Invading and corrupting our sacred space
Our only weapon is our faith in God’s word
Standing on the promise of the message we heard
