Summer Soft Rain at Night
So sweet is the summer soft rain, at night,
That kisses the fair petals of flowers,
Nourishes thirsty plants, abates their plight
And refreshes the surrounding bowers.
So graceful is the summer gentle rain,
That drifts away dust in towns and cities,
Wafts away some of man`s sorrows and pains
And lightens the burden of his worries.
The music of summer soft rain, at night,
Is to me like a delicious invite
To scan the spark of the untainted light
Of my inner self, gently sparkling bright.
Summer soft rain at night, a divine grace,
Is a gift that I will ever embrace.
