Before your voice is lost in the silence that fills the once-shared space

Before your voice is lost in the silence that fills the once-shared space,
leave behind not just your absence, but the glow of your kindness like a gentle light,
a silent ray that will forever linger in the corners of my heart, unforgotten.
May the touch of your hand or the too-brief embrace leave its mark,
let your eyes whisper what words could never speak,
carrying an unspoken vow of return, even if only in echoes it will remain.
Not all farewells must break hearts; sometimes they remind us that love endures,
it resides in the corners of the room, in the places where we kissed and whispered love,
like a silent symphony that continues to resonate in the spaces where we shared dreams.
Leave a trace of warmth before you go, Love, like the final notes of a cherished song,
like sunlight filtering through leaves, a warmth that will remain even as time passes,
gentle and delicate, forever treasured in the depths of my memory-thirsty soul.
When the days are too long and heavy and the distance too great to grasp and embrace,
when my heart seeks the solace of your warm arms, I'll find the echo of that lost warmth,
like a gentle reminder that love never fades, even when the door slowly closes behind you.
