The Rant
August the 4th was the very first day
and Indianapolis you started it the wrong way!
You unloaded the bus early
when you arrived at the school,
then back at the lot it was not cool.
Seven years old and asleep on the second seat,
found by the mechanic, not a treat.
You should have looked one more time
this could have been avoided on your dime.
Now it's too late and your job is through
the sleeping child on the bus counted on you.
