Operation Pending
There, on the horizon
looms a darkness,
this uncertainty,
an unknown,
the future, inevitable.
Daunting,
imposing,
inexorable.
Fated to suffer,
forecasted pain.
My outcome
resides in the hands
of those so skilled.
