Flowing

Once I begin, words arise and flow,
They won't cease, for that would be a crime, you know.
I won't sin, I've doubted enough on my own,
Look at me, say you love me, in the mirror, be shown.

Feel, live, love, embrace until you burst,
Explode like a bomb, upon my roof, a poetic outburst.
Snatch my soul, if it still resides within,
Oh, what a pity, a sorrow I feel, let the verses begin.

God, grant me patience, I'm losing my sense,
Let's pause, take a deep breath, recompense.
All okay? Did you comprehend my rhyme?
If you wish, I'll slow down, like a breeze in its prime.

Gentle wind, not a harsh, biting gust,
A breeze or a smile, in you, I trust.
Smile when you gaze upon me, eyes that don't lie,
But I beg, deceive me, let sweet lies amplify.

Not smart nor coherent, this choice I make,
But I prefer sweet lies, my ears they won't break.
Do you catch my drift, understand my plea?
It's an odd request, but indulge me, let it be.

Not wise or logical, this path that I take,
Seeking peace, avoiding harm for my own sake.
Already ruined, beyond your salvation,
A glimmer of hope, a faint revelation.

What a shame, no pity owed from me,
Rejoice, for I won't suffer, set me free.
I won't bother you anymore, this text finds its end,
A whisper, a shout, a sigh, to which air may not attend.

Ah, I regret wasting your precious time,
My talent lacking, a feeble rhyme.
But perhaps, it brings a bit of cheer,
A small gift to make you a tad more sincere.
