Overwhelming Tranquility Blissful Peace

Sometimes
We have hall had such pleasurable idle days
Where everything becomes still and quiet
That surrounds us
Apart from the pleasant melodic delightful
Audible sounds and sonett I of twittering warbling fidgety birds that calm me
Perched upon high
Somewhere within the summer frock-adorned majestic rugged
Towering trees
Forever stretching twisting and contorting upwards
Towards the life-giving golden orb
In the expansive canopy of sky
All of which put me at ease
And release the tension

Welcoming tepid waves of soothing
Warm calm leaves me in complete ecstasy
So light and relaxed we drift off with no care
Let go to float upon deep cooling tranquil seas
As the radiant sun smiles down
Pushing and peeping through
The most beautiful ultra-vibrant blue
My skin gently caressed by a teasing tickling breeze
Awakens my sensitive receptive skin

As I leave the harsh din and problems of a mad world far behind
Obtrusive thoughts fade and quickly
Evaporate into nothingness
And carry on my carless destination
I give and purposely surrender
My whole being to the will of the idle moment
Free and at peace and at one with myself and the creation
That abounds in technicolour and surrounds me

I have no needs at this time nor desire
Other than to enjoy and relish the moment
Leaving me fulfilled and replenished
Warm cosy and content
In the wonderful
Here and Now

And if I should release my grip on life
And be consumed by the stark dark stillness of death
To rest and be at last at peace
If departing be as heavenly as this
I would not tremble nor fear
That fatal ominous kiss
But wholeheartedly
Face and embrace it
For it is only the beginning
And not the end
The real-life has yet to come
In a much better place than this
Where I'll see lost loved ones and friends
Who visits me in dreams
Who will smile once again
In a beautiful peaceful land
At the end of the rainbow.
