Meaningless Abandonment
There's abandon the stage playing music too loud
And abandon the podium in front of a crowd
Abandon the radio is playing a tune,
And I once saw a show with abandon the moon
McCartney once sang of abandon the run
And abandon the convent had a singing nun
I sing with wild abandon when taking showers
Wear abandon my hair with a pattern of flowers
I live with my love who won't abandon me, nay
Because abandon my finger tells me that they'll stay.
