Why
I felt pain from the injection
Of the sad scary confession
You just shot right into me
There is no way this could be
You are innocent and young
The words flowing off your tongue
Have pieces of me breaking
My whole body can't stop shaking
Tears are filling up my eyes
A little part of you dies
Knowing soon it is the end
I am losing my best friend
From the cancer doctors found
This is not where you were bound
To end up in your short years
Come to me with all your fears
I will be a steady rock
Until hours on the clock
Tick down as you slowly fly
Like an angel to the sky
