Awakening to the Red Road - An Ecopoetic Odyssey, 'Part 2 of 6'

II. Nature's Cyclical Dance
In the grand wheel of this world, demise holds no sting, For nothing truly perishes — all merely transforms. From decay, new life springs forth, lush and shades of green, Defying human fallacies with each tender shoot. Our sacred task: expand the realm of compassion, Blurring the lines, leaving no division between life and death. Like the Anishinaabe who honor the sacred cycle, We absorb their wisdom, respecting all life's balance. Warblers of the wind carry ancestors' voices, guiding us Their breath rustling through leaves, calling us to harmony With Mother Earth's daughters. In the dance of life and death, An eternal rhythm pulses, echoed in the heartbeat of the land. A testament to nature's resilience and cyclical dance, Where each fallen leaf enriches the soil, Feeding roots that birth new blossoms in the spring. Where the scent of rain on dry earth heralds renewal, And the chorus of crickets at dusk sings of life's unending cycle. ---- "The Sacred Forest, a Nurturing Mother, never lets life die, / But reclaims, recycles, and rebirths in her eternal lullaby." - Daniel Henry Rodgers
