Openly Gratuitous

Learning is open to the known spirit
Living loudly towards the strong delight
Fine is the powder of the rubbing for steak
Coarse is the word for the injury therein
Nostradamus never predicted my escape
Reality struts in without a sound
And I comply, horses clipping of their clogs
Strut stout and remembering nothing
My ideas ring about endlessly between
The realm of the dream and the living
Standard for igniting a coal stove
But irrelevant to bee stings in autumn
Hopelessly romantic, bends on one knee
Purposefully pronouncing dedication
Of needing another’s long lived troubles
Past to future, bringing the brink of beliefs
Nowhere to hide but behind the face
Of your eyes through the mirror
On the other side of the silver backing
