Isn't it true that you fall in love with the silence that remains when everything has faded
Isn't it true that you fall in love with the silence that remains when everything has faded?
You admire your past footsteps, once regretted, and see the mistakes born of pride,
When quietness settles like a blanket over life's noise and lost shadows,
The voice that echoes in that calm leaves you amazed, like an echo from the depths.
Are you fascinated by that voice that resonates only when all is quiet and empty?
In this silence, you give thanks to past lights and present darkness,
Wondering if perhaps we wage wars with ourselves to know ourselves better,
As if each inner struggle brings us closer to the core of our being.
In this silence, the shadows of memories blend with the light of hopes,
Steps viewed with regret now become paths to profound self-knowledge,
The flaws in things you were once proud of are lessons wrapped in wisdom,
You wonder if perhaps silence is the one who knows how to listen to our truth.
Maybe in this holy silence we discover that wars are paths of discovery,
For in every silence and darkness we meet ourselves, face to face and honest,
And we ask if perhaps everything we seek is already hidden within us,
Waiting to be found, in that gentle silence that embraces us with understanding.
