Despondency
Sometimes during my day the sun ceases to shine,
and i feel downcast with a tendency to whine.
But God isnt filling my heart with this sadness,
He gives me a choice of either that, or gladness.
Sometimes i'm caught delving on current things gone wrong,
instead of counting blessings and singing a song.
But through it all i remain in His love and care,
for i know I'm not facing more than i can bear.
