Grasshopper In the Cockpit
Grasshopper in the cockpit
knowledgeable about flight matters
it set plane off the runway
its nose in the air, tail above the sea
Hippo the flight captain was worried
but little he could do then
head too big, body too huge
cockpit he could fit not
Flight continued across the sea
seeing other planes in mid-air
grasshopper jumped but it was not
the swarm of locusts it thought
Hippo saw huge rocks in the sea
it jumped thinking they were other hippos
with no one to pick intelligence
everything ended in the sea
