Ascension Ladder Seraph

Pearlescent angels twinkle in a perma-marker
black ink sky,
fluorescent float upon the atmospheric
elements ethereally etched.
Helix of a thin air eye strain helium,
shrink wrap to the golden cling film
wings on flight bound beings so celestial.
Nocturnal hymn’s fluent gush from
velvet tonsil songsters,
sonic bursts weave marsh reed basket
cadence while skirting pear shape
lumen streetlight lamps.
They soar upon ecstatic thunderstruck carnivals
of cloud whose furnace red pulse rate
sears in vivid plasmas.
Such creatures gild imaginative other-worlds
we artists in our rainbow-tinged brush
strokes can only dream of.
Ascension ladder seraph who inveigle universal karma’s
latent spirit vault,
associated magic laden mineral seam
incumbent begging for a treasure trove
virtuoso heavenly harvest.
Cherubs that whoosh phantasmagorical around
a dormant midnight slumber while the cosmos
breathes its unearthly satellite upon empyreal spheres
