A Dollop of Cat Barf

Early morning, I'm sipping a warm cup of vacation.
She suddenly explodes from the shadows.
Sprinting across the living room floor.
Hopelessly late for work and spectacularly naked.
Mumbling something about a lost bra and car keys.
Cursing as she steps into a dollop of unknown.
The orange tabby twitched an ear.
While the chubby gray one giggled.
The littlest was nowhere to be found.
and nobody was confessing.

Soon enough, the keys were re-discovered.
Her super moon was thankfully covered.
She scrambled out the snickering door.
Sadly, for me, the comedy was over.
I went back to my cup of vacation,
ignoring the cat barf on the floor.
