You Alight From Moonbeam
The scarlet sun has sunk in the horizon low,
ebony night descends through the twilight glow.
Shimmering stars sprout silently one by one,
their cosmic dance in the stellar sky has begun.
From the cascade of moonbeam you alight,
I see you sparkle in the silver shine of starlight.
The cloud clumps drift away at the fall of night,
the glimmer of your grace captures my sight.
I float with the sequins of moon under sapphire sky,
my dormant desire to reach you soars high.
From the cascade of moonbeam you alight,
I see you sparkle in the silver shine of starlight.
On the glittering golden beach of the indigo sea,
you walk melodic steps in the rhythm of waves I see.
The rolling swells bring from afar the posy of pearls,
adorn your ivory feet with lovely lattice of curls.
From the cascade of moonbeam you alight
I see you sparkle in the silver shine of starlight.
You walk like an angel on my garden’s floral trail,
face radiates charm behind the moonshine veil.
As you come close and ardently embrace me,
my heart beats at the pace of heavenly rhapsody.
From the cascade of moonbeam you alight,
I see you sparkle in the silver shine of starlight.
