Monocrostic (Birthday of France Donna Mae R. Toca)
Yesterday a funeral blocked my streets
They passed their silent tears to me
On window glass reflecting them in rain
So soon to sob roots outside the pain
Of the last closing stone —
Where memories are in flowers thrown
Has a heart in heaven a new name?
Or is beloved just beloved for beloved's sake?
As ones grieving overcast by their cloud rawing
I saw rain as a comfort in the body —

Topic: Birthday of Allan Vito F. Caidic (June 15)
Form: Vertical Monocrostic
M-orn seventeenth February
E-liminates the heartache;
N-ight cold chill is over,
N-ew dawn begins to break.
E-arly Friday beacon brings brightness to the day;
N-o more mist and haze, as shadows and fog fade away.
R-apture fills your mind,
E-VM Art shows your talent;
G-ray clouds don't gather,
A-s you see the sun's ascent.
L-et your painting express
A-n important idea or feelings;
D-rawing proves you have
O-ne of the heaven's blessings.
(fact contests poem)
The sky is blue and beautiful
The clouds as white as cotton candy
With birds flying going about they journey
The waters as beautiful as Crystal clear
While the fish swimming across the ocean waters
The grass are as green as can be
Flowers blooming blossoming to it's fullest
Nature animals lions and tigers, wolves, and others wondering around.ahhhh! Yes nature is beautiful.
ON IT'S BAD DAYS
The sky is nowhere to be seen
The clouds are as grey, sometimes rains
The birds nowhere to be seen only a few
The waters feeling every drop of the rain till it's full
While the fishes have no clue
Flowers are as wet till sometimes damage
Nature animals lions and tigers, wolves and others in caves and some don't.
Earthquakes destroying elsewhere
Hurricane damaging in other places
Volcanoes rawing to it's corruption
Fire's burning Forests to it's ugliness
As we try to figure out how did it happen
This is the world on it's Good and bad days.
M-arch on to your victory,
E-nemy of true faith fails;
L-oser of the battlefield
I-s gone as your poise prevails.
S-tep on to your victory,
S-uccessful form is shown;
A-bound in total trust, as your hope has grown.
R-hythmic stride is seen,
O-nce you move forward;
S-alvation is in store,
E-ternal life is your reward.
N-ever ever turn away,
D-rawing back annoys the Almighty;
O-n the thirteenth of September, march on to your victory.
D-rawing back pleases not God,
H-e will surely be dismayed;
A-im at what lies ahead,
N-ever let your true faith fade.
F-alling back pleases not God,
E-arly thirteenth of September;
D-on't let your hope dwindle,
E-ven during vile weather.
R-emain firm and steady,
I-n spite of the odd;
S-tay focused on your goal, drawing back pleases not God.

E nticing me to become me -
R eal in a sense
D rawing me out
A ssisting me to embrace all that is me without
Y earning to be the person the world think I should be
