I Search my Heart
Arising renewed I went from the light to sad blue
The first day of sixty-five, I feel it all true
So I go to my muse, of waves rhythmic dance
Being careful to note where my thoughts did glance
I search in my heart as I walk the beach line
I'm yearning for lovers to make me feel fine
I think and I feel that maybe I'm wrong
Because some of you really make me belong
There are two sides for each possible action
Mine not the only thoughts or reaction
Held with new vision that sweeps me aloft
My grace to own a landing so soft.
chance encounters remind me time’s
a loop of intense moments continually
wrapped around energies of design
slowing only to allow recognition of
something to be seen by each
those times of possible action are
reactions to the speeding up of time
when we are in flow and allowing
all of eternity to attune to our
resonance, we enter Samadhi
movements of stillness resurrect
awareness of alignment for all
things are never what they seem
being one thing while being
another possibility is that all
time is a ball of twine wound
round and round and back upon
itself is awakening to the probable
self it began when eternity yawned
spreading herself everywhere
only glancing back to know self
when maturation seemed imminent.
seems twice was two long
to think,
seems that “wisdom”
prevailed &
put up the road block between
said possible action &
the reality of
defeat in
retrospect---
what could’ve been
had but only one chance,
one possibility &
all the ifs, ands, ors &
buts,
left nothing in the seconds after
s/he walked away…
s/he walked away…
yes,
s/he walked away, denied,
leaving
the other party with
their proverbial pants
down, with all the time in the
world to ponder
just what this “wisdom” really is,
with blue balls,
with the bluest of
walls throbbing,
with dissatisfaction
taking its toll &
lingering viciously,
with oh,
a long night ahead.
