Hearts aplomb
limbs poised akimbo.
Staved frozen grass
which to sip
thy morn' dew
Picture inspired:
snow covered ground
with a small tree growing
bare branches except
for the red hearts blooming
on the tips of each branch

Echos of silent lights swirling,
dancing, surrounding this sky
so calm
So many stars lucky enough to
be witness to this invitation
only metamorphasis
Silently whispering it's colors
of alabaster and tourmaline
intertwinded as if bonded
in marriage
Reflections of aquamarine and
tourquise bouncing off a lake
below, bearing a face so ice
crystal blue, it appears as
though it is pure sheets of glass
not a single ripple in sight
Slowly descending from the
heavens, bumping ever so gently
into each other as though playing
a game of tag
Their patterns uniquely individual
yet surprisingly familiar forms
made even more delightful by
their sounds of silence
Time to fade into the night
this celestial burst returning
to where it was birthed
Dimming like tail-lights in
the fog as the sun eases up
over the horizon,
For it is now her time to dance
in the sky
This is picture inspired of the northern lights

Oh guide us eagle spirit
towards our newborn spring
Lend your wings for our safe
passage, your voice we'll
follow as you sing
From your birdseye view, our
food and shelter we will gain
over mountains through our valley's
your wings beat loudly on the plain
Shadow us from danger, give us
flight on wings wind-swept
carve the light through
rained on forests, soar the
plateaus steer the steppes
Once spotted land for living, tip
your left wing then your right
we shall bless and name your
spirit 'Soaring Eagle Fear No Flight'
This is picture inspired by my favorite artist.
Her name is Bev Doolittle and she creates
amazing illusion works of art/ Mostly native american.
It is up to the viewer to stand back and find the
image(s) within her paintings.
This painting is called 'Season Of The Eagle'
But i put my own title to the poem i was inspired to write.

Her eyes were of the
utmost beauty, resembling
a kaleidoscope of green
and golden citrine.
Her skin so incredibly
delicate, you dare not
reach out to touch the
single tear slowly
rolling down her chin
for fear she may shatter.
Adding to her beauty as
always... by her side
the single lovely pink
rose wafting her favored
scent to fill her soul.
Yet it is her soul that
speaks volumes through
those magnificient eyes
of wonder as if to say
to the world...
'I am at peace and free
of any bonds that held
me captive, this of
my own will'.
The tear you were
witness to was shed
with serenity and joy.
Today believe I am a
precious existence.
My spirit now balanced,
memories no longer
fragmented pieces of
a splintered past.
Look into my eyes
what do you see?
This was picture inspired
can you imagine how beautiful
she is?

Gently fall tiny
dew drops and
quench thy thirst
Spilling into
thine petals until
fully immersed
Glistening treasure
springs from above
thine own head
For the valley
below 'tis
your final bed
This satiny cup
awaits your
solitary drop
Thy'll move not
a bit whilst on
velvet 'tis atop
Parched thirst awaits
wings sheer shimmer
dies dry
No dew drops to
moisten thy soul
shan't ne'er fly
Picture inspired poem of a tiny fairy sitting
atop a soft velvety mushroom holding a single
lily of the valley flower cup and trying to capture that one
droplet of water perched above her head

How is this possible?
Can this be true?
That me i weigh so
much more than you.
Yet i sit atop your
fluffy mound,
And still you come no
where to touching the ground.
So i thank you now for
this soft warm bed,
For because of my small size,
below i'd surely be dead.
(This is a picture inspired poem. It's of a dandelion that's gone from yellow
to the fuzzy white. And atop is napping the tiniest of all kitten's in the world.
Clearly this photo has been digitally enhanced, but the image was so adorable,
i felt compelled to say what i thought the kitty was feeling.. SAFE!)

Oh wily captive of mine,
carried along, encapsulated in time.
You'll not be empty whilst churning about
Nor you'll be free until I pluck you out.
Beware lest you bank when the sea is calm,
for i've captured this ship and I hold the helm.
Persevere if you must, though i'll not free your souls,
I'ts the price for to pay with your lives you did gloat.
Your fleeting ship is confined forever more,
accept thine own fate, ne'er treasure aboard.
Your ship remain's entombed, there's cracks and
there's fissures,
no hope will there be, to hold onto or measure.
Your soul's shall rest at the bottom of the sea,
I've exacted my revenge , farewell my liege.
This was a picture inspired poem. Of a ship in a bottle floating on the ocean.
