Dew Drops For Lily
Gently fall tiny
dew drops and
quench thy thirst
Spilling into
thine petals until
fully immersed
Glistening treasure
springs from above
thine own head
For the valley
below 'tis
your final bed
This satiny cup
awaits your
solitary drop
Thy'll move not
a bit whilst on
velvet 'tis atop
Parched thirst awaits
wings sheer shimmer
dies dry
No dew drops to
moisten thy soul
shan't ne'er fly
Picture inspired poem of a tiny fairy sitting
atop a soft velvety mushroom holding a single
lily of the valley flower cup and trying to capture that one
droplet of water perched above her head
