A Joy of Everything

And
somewhere
far off on
hills,
Dwelled
deep upon
a summit,
a dappled
ground
A cock will
again
crow to
his mates,
whisper
To the
world: in
earnest
plea or
sweetness
And
soothe a
air around
and tumult
Kindled
from the
market's
navel and
someplace
Off the
ocean's
empty belly

And be it
not sultry
darkness
dies,
Flatulent
chirps
risen from
scant
bushes
blare
Against
the sun's
rising
But for
ressurection
that
drowns life,
A stuff
which
existence
be
In the
misted
dawns and
sun-
scotched
grooves,
Sky's
twitching
eye to a
swarm
Of
speckled
wings. Let
this throw
To the
world a joy
sublime, a
feel divine
A joy of
everything;
a joy of
flesh__

A Paradox of Chains

Look to it and fly dear pigeons, fly
The sun is melting gold, and stars
Drip their silver down the idle sky
The ice caps melt like prison bars
O fly pigeons, fly
Go loop and swirl your joy on the sky.

It almost seemed home, the cage
Of our flesh, the vanity we desire
And all our wisdom was a little rage
Against the spoons and spoons of fire
O fly pigeons, fly
Go loop and swirl your joy on the sky

With broken doors freedom falls apart
Value by value in the ransomed mind
The prison swells dark in the angry heart
O light in the eyes can make us blind
Go fly pigeons, fly
Go loop and swirl your joy on the sky

O birds once caged hunger but to stay
Freedom found yearns to break its chains
Meaning in adversity falls to sweet decay
How stupid are swallows in summer rains
Go fly pigeons, fly
Go loop and swirl your joy on the sky

Snow

This light fluffy delight
brings tears of joy to my eyes!
And soon these joy seeds will bloom and a crystal white
flower shall blanket the land.

What wonderful snow can cover the north pole
and continue on to the forest that surrounds me.

These cold sweet treats fall from above,
but the heat will not let them.
That forbidding sun cannot have fun,
those unfortunate ones,
have come again by the beckoning of the moon,
lightly they fall and plant themselves
and soon begin to grow.
