As I write this, it is my last day on this earth.
I wanna give each one of my daughters a kiss, and pray I'm rebirth!
And if I'm not, then I will soon see my momma in heaven.
I will fight with all I got, and be among the fighting spirits from nine-eleven!
I wanna tell my daughters I love them dearly, and hang out with them for awhile.
I mean each word sincerely, for my strength has come from each ones smile!
I wanna tell Audrey, my "P.B." to hang on to my memory and remember me.
I wanna ask the very beautiful Walayee, why she hasn't collaborated on our poetry!?
I wanna tell Deb to not frown, to remember how I "go down!"
I wanna tell Madison, "I wear the crown," and "I run this town!"
I wanna tell my dad. Marty, how he's been a blessing on my life.
I wanna tell P.D., how I enjoyed that party, hanging with Nates wife!
I wanna tell Constance little group, "My time is up, I'm gonna die!"
I wanna tell all the poets on the soup, "They can win some contests now, and
bye, bye!"
Wrote for Walayee Whitlocks contest, "If I only had one day to live"

Autumn Turkey
crossed snows path the winter blows near
the turkey time is finally here
holiday goods shopping a plenty
people a bussling
cities so hefty
people run to buy last minute goods
for parties, filled with fun and love
no more merry could we be,
on this autumn night you see
crossed the mountains and over the lake
to uncle nates house right on the
drake
turkeys seasoned with love and care
uncle nate's house will never lay bare
for every season there will be,
a gigantic party wait till you see
bustling relatives all up in a bunch
tired and cranky but happilly
filled with lunch
