Lost Myristica swamps

"What we are doing to the forests of the world is but a mirror refection of what we are doing to ourselves and to one another.” Quote by - Mahatma Gandhi
----------------------------------------------------------
Specially designed knee roots
Stilt roots dig deep into soil
Abundant swamp water still
In evergreen tree forests

Dried up streams, levelled up swamps
Reveal more frustrated roots
Grinning at open clear sky
Deep in forest no new roots

Red-listed trees and insects
Red-listed flowers, reptiles
Sit as samples in glass jars
Dancing frog stuffed nice on shelf

Angelic damsefly sits
Still like an aura quartz branch
Forgetting which way to fly
To live untouched by human

Still Crushing

Back then I thoughT I was young and not clever
Crushing on you but now it seems like forever
If only I could but tell you the way I feel
Each time I smell that myristica fragrance from your perfume
My stomach got no choice but to catch butterflies
And it feels good kike the taste of Frontline fries
My heart, it beats rythmically like the sound of fontomfrom
Being played at Akwasidae till it is Awukudae
My brains go numb till the sound of Xing playing the guitar
Each time I look at you, I can but only imagine
The warmth of your lips against none but mine
Strolling the streets of Ayeduase your hand in mine
If only I could but tell you am in love with you
Wondering if your dad stole the stars to put in your eyes
But all I can see in your eyes is truthful lies
