My short story continues with this insightful excerpt:
A Century Turns: Soviet Union's Life Expectancy: II
"A fictional perspective of articulating an ambitious nature that hinges on varied facts," ... by the Poet.
And now ... the school bell has rung. The park that he pleasures in both muscularity and mentality, ills in parity--in a nutshell--the school has taught him that the eraser is the better half of a pencil. It is always the seldom used that comes to the aid and heals the whole abused. That illuminating factor was his focal point that would encourage his future from the descension of the crown, and to the ascension of communism's embrace.
The Guennol Lioness is the most expensive sculpture ever sold at auction.
If she were of another constitution,
which was better suited to our social responsibilities –
a frailty of son,
a defenselessness of husband,
a femininity of man, -
she might be able to hope for an echo of our sympathy,
to become a son, a husband, a man.
Alas,
a strength, a muscularity, a gender certainty,
as well as a looking left dissociation –
rather a detachment from reality than a loss of it -
all of it makes she an alien with no legal right of abode in a here.
But, when no one's looking, I nurse my dreams of her:
the Guennol Lioness is worth its weight in gold.
This is so sensual.

My nerve cells are ceasing my thoughts
My breath is barricading my life
My limbs are trembling
My heart is hovering in fear
Oh mommy! I am being victimized by me.
The earth is sinking under me
The sky is falling over my head
The compressive strength of my bones is diminishing day by day
The muscularity of my body is dwindling night and day
Oh mommy! I am being killed by me.
I am a coward lying lifeless among the lively fears
I am a yellow belly scared of the bright orange sun
I am a namby pamby soul shivering under the blanket of cold winter night
I am a fraidy cat snuggling in the sleeping bag of life
Oh mommy! I am being slaughtered by me.
Drag me away from this dangerous dragon
Get me out of these pinching hours of darkness
Hold me tight and embrace me in your arms
Give me solace and help me revive my true being.
I want to smile
I want to sing
I want to jump
I want to shout
I want to breathe
I want to live
Oh mommy! I want my life back.
