Untitled Sonnet

August winds down midmonth, Autumn nudges
Daylight dwindles, there's a nip in the air.
Those who love the sultry summer begrudge
Others' sheer delight in Autumn's fanfare.

This season of change transforms slowly.
Bright daubs of colour on trees displaying
Crimson's, oranges, and yellows glow vividly
Kissed by the sun, shimmering leaves rustling.

The dawn chorus silenced, birds southward bound.
Farmers gathering in their crops; hay bales dot fields.
Pumpkins set on doorsteps, large, orange, round
A seasonal symbol of harvest's yield.

Autumnal equinox imminent
Nature's flamboyant show: fall's celebrant.

The Month of June

THE MONTH OF JUNE

It's the month of June,
The almighty will bless us with good fortune,
In this glorious month,
He will fulfil our petition in this midmonth

With my profound prayer,
He will surely conquer every destroyer,
That doesn't want us to go higher,
But we will surely become an overcomer

He will surely bless us with good wealth,
And sustain us with strong health
Our help will be from heaven above,
And make plans be surely approved

Don't make us loser,
In the hands of the evildoers
Makes us a winner,
And put all enemies into a container

Don't make us go astray,
As we pray
But fill our heart with Joy,
So that we can forever enjoy...

Clear

Here! They come again
In problems they are much.
In love they are few. Numbers!
Some men & women are great.
I have not read a single negative word in their poems & prose.
All these year, they are
Clear as the midday sun & midmonth moon.
