Man Eating Shark Poems | Examples

Man Eating Shark

By Elton Camp

Animal rights groups are in an uproar
They don’t want to hear of it anymore

While swimming, a shark came around
Into its fin, his teeth he viciously ground

He said shark fin soup was his best treat
One that he took every occasion to eat

They said the shark was in his own habitat
And that nothing could be wrong about that

The man, they wanted to be put away
In a prison cell, for many years to decay

“A shark’s life is very precious to us.
That’s why we are raising such a fuss.”

“We can’t see why it’s hard to understand.
Animal life is fully equal to that of a man.”

The animal lovers came down to the beach
A lesson in caring there to publicly teach

They offered the shark a tasty treat
But found he preferred human meat

The animals rights folks he dragged away
No more about cruelty did they have to say

Be Warned!

There was a time in my life, when my interests did sway.
I studied the darkness, and all the dark ways.
Tarot cards, rune stones, palm reading and such.
Past lives, witchcraft, even had healing touch.

I wanted to know them, to see if they were real.
I just wasn't aware then, just how serious the deal.
It all started as fun though, and the future read good.
But soon evil enveloped, covered life like a black hood.

Everything became twisted, good spirits turned bad.
It didn't take long then, to realize i'd been had.
But, to get out's not so easy, evil doesn't like to let go.
It will follow you always, and mess up your life so.

Now, finally i've made it. I'm now back in the light.
Yet evil is sneaky, so each day i still fight.
So PLEASE heed my warning, stay away from the dark.
It will eat at your soul, like a man-eating shark.

The darkness will tease you, and pull you right in.
Then IT runs your life, your soul lost to them.
It will trick you and use you, and throw you away.
Please be warned against evil, don't turn to it's way.
