Steep slate slopes glow in autumn gold
Below jagged white aretes.
Strong young men hunt among the crags
Pursuing choice chamois and deer.
Valley maids harvest purple grapes.
Laughing children mash-dance in vats.
Women stir yeast to set the brew
And lid and cork some oaken casks.
Auld men rest warm on terrace slates
Of a sunlit vine-wrapped arbor,
Slowly sipping first blush vintage,
Telling tales of mighty hunts.
Bright eyes eager for fontina
Laughter and motsetta slices,
Raising glasses filled with Syrah
To toss their years a grand hurrah.
Their hearts are on the mountain highs,
But sunset colors paint their eyes.
Today is a very special day
I wish you love in so many
way
Love as deep as the sea
Love that is as cute as me
Love that is beyond all
bound
A love that will turn your
whole life around

When she named Jack as her val,
I knew him never to be a pal,
To the naive girl with the eyes of dove,
For this rascal has been known to shove,
Every soul who has been his prey,
Leaving them all with the eyes of grey.
But Cinderella was sure she will not be the same,
Like the other girls who didn't know how to tame,
The crooked guy with the dreamy eyes.
She rode foolishly on the rascal cheeky lies.
But landed with a thud too bad to mend,
And the crooked val laughed scornfully at her sorry end.
This Cinderella is in many girls I see today,
In a twinkling of an eye they eat their future away,
With just a morsel, a future is marred.
With just a morsel, a destiny is barred.

He wasn’t invited
They came prepared
Balloons, rosettes, banners
More people than were at the wedding

The loud girl with the big heart
He would miss that
The music played on till dawn
He was waiting in the street for the taxi to arrive
She was saying goodbye to the final few
He caught her eye
Sounded like a great night

So how does it feel to be a single woman
Don’t know yet
How long you away for
Three, four months
Gives a call when you get back, we’ll go for a drink

He was a very talented actor who we won't see anymore.

He made an uncredited appearance two years later in "The Love Guru".
Millions of people loved Val Kilmer's performance in "Top Gun".
